La Tortue is one of N'Djamena's best-known restaurants, as it used to be based at the Institut français and had a branch here on avenue Kondol. Today, only one remains, on avenue Kondol, but the cuisine is the same. The welcome is warm and the food excellent. The value for money is one of the best in the capital, and you can enjoy tasty dishes such as captain's brochette or minced beef with plantains at half the price of downtown restaurants.

Not expensive! Subsidized by the embassy? Just eat an end of speed. Or drinking a beer. Frequented by student (E) the Chadian (born).
