The N'djam Hip Hop festival serves as a springboard for young Chadian rappers looking to break into the hip-hop industry. Each year, three prestigious prizes are awarded: best rapper of the year, revelation category and best beatmaker. These highly prized awards are a major recognition in the Chadian musical landscape. Launched by the Réseau culturel et artistique pour la formation et la Francophonie (RECAF), the festival has established itself as a key event since its inception in 2007.
