La Cave is the best-stocked wine and spirits store in N'Djamena, and its owner, Roger, is a connoisseur who enjoys choosing the wines he will be retailing in this pretty store adjoining the eponymous restaurant. Red, white or rosé, the choice is vast and covers a range of grape varieties that will not leave you indifferent if you're a lover of fine wines. Prices are a little higher than in Europe, due to transport and taxes, but remain reasonable for an establishment of this quality.
