In this cemetery, where the white stones clearly detach lawns and haies-carved hedges, the 335 soldiers of the 3rd Canadian Division fallen on June 6, 1944 in the Juno Beach area, as well as 1694 soldiers and 15 Canadian airmen killed during the allied breakthrough. Three soldiers and one British aviator, as well as a French soldier, were buried in Bény cemetery. Canadians who lost their lives during subsequent fighting rest at the Bretteville-sur-Laize Canadian Military Cemetery.

Tres beaux site, bien fleuri et bien entretenu. Il faut absolument y faire un arrêt, situé entre Caen et Courseulles. Nous nous souviendrons d'eux.
