Traditionally built in adobe, the Gôn (Moundang village chief) palace displays the architectural features of the zadéné, or Moundang fortified farm: the Gôn's dwelling is a conical, multi-storey hut, linked to the women's bedrooms by high clay walls. Between these walls are attics with portholes at the top, sealed by wickerwork panels that can be reached by means of a wooden ladder made from a notched fork. Le Gôn is happy to receive visitors and enjoy a chat.
