This small two-storey museum contains a collection of pottery, basketry, weapons, musical instruments (including one of those long metal trumpets used at festivals), and a Rabist soldier's uniform. You can also see a series of maps explaining the region and its historical development. Unfortunately poorly maintained, this museum cannot sum up the history of Kanem, and a visit to the museum in N'Djamena is an excellent complement. It is advisable to tip the janitor by signing the museum's visitors' book.
