Located about 700 m south of the historic district, it is one of the modern circuses of Russia. Topped by a dome-shaped gate, this beautiful building is visible from afar. Since its opening in 1980, more than 20 million spectators have applauded the performances of its troupe. The rather sympathetic feature of the Yekaterinburg Circus is the special attention it pays to the animals. Bears, for example, are not caged.
