It is one of the most remarkable buildings in Ekaterinburg: the Kharitonov-Rastorguev Palace, whose construction began in 1794 and took more than thirty years, is located on the Voznessensky (Ascension) Hill opposite the Church of All Saints on the Blood-Verse. The palace is named after the wealthy merchant Rastorguev and his son-in-law Kharitonov who inherited the property and completed the construction of the palace and a beautiful garden.
