The house of the "tea king", S. M. Gribouchine, who made his fortune from the tea trade, was built at the beginning of the 20th century in an Art Nouveau style. The inhabitants call it "the house with the angels". It bears another name coming from literature: "the house with faces" where the drama of the characters of Pasternak took place. The building is rich in decorations: crowns, garlands, rosettes, but the most remarkable are the bas-reliefs of more than 20 female heads.
