A new museum, open in 2018! Housed in the former residence of the Governor General of Tobolsk, where Emperor Nicholas II and his family were exiled in 1917 (until they were transferred to the so-called Special Purpose House in Yekaterinburg). Inside, there is an interesting collection of period objects: furniture, clothes, religious objects, documents, intended to recreate the atmosphere of the place. You will discover the intimacy of the former imperial family.
