At the end of the world, in the middle of a plain surrounded by snow-covered mountains, the tiny Koch-Agatch, the most important city in the south-east of the Altai Republic. Most of its inhabitants are Kazakhs, but there are also Altaics and Russians. It features one-storey houses, a modest market, a house of culture, a gas station and an airfield. You can stop at the Vizit-tsentr Sailugemskiy Hotel (double room RUB 2,500).
