A nice museum housed in an interesting Soviet building, which gives pride of place to Siberian artists. The institution regularly organizes temporary exhibitions with works from museums in Moscow and St. Petersburg. You can admire a majority of paintings (19th and 20th centuries), various icon techniques (notably tempura) and a fine collection of sculptures. A department of Soviet art from the 1950s to 1960s has just opened its doors.
