Khakassie's only puppet theatre, Skazka, celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2019. It undoubtedly deserves a detour, if only for its atmosphere. Contemporary creations, classical booklets, khakasse tales and legends: the program delights children and adults alike. Every year, the stage organizes the international ecological and ethnic puppet festival, Chir Chayaan (Чир Чайаан). At the beginning of July, an event not to be missed.
