Crafts, jousts, dances... it's THE khakasse party with the celebration of the first ayran (fermented mare's milk drink).
Tun Païran is the celebration of the first ayran of the year, a drink made from fermented mare's milk, prepared after the spring transhumance. Reprogrammed since the 1980's, recently celebrated at the beginning of July, in the Sagaï steppe (inquire at the tourist office). On the menu, local cooking contests and jousting: wrestling, horse racing, archery and hapchah (lifting and throwing 80 kg stones). Music, dance, handicrafts: you discover the Khakasse cultures.
