DETSKY MIR
Unusual children's store (fashion, shoes, toys, etc.). It is the former palace of the businessman Nicolai Gadalov built in the 19th century, where the future Nicholas II stayed. Under the dome, with its exceptional sound, was a music and concert room. The childcare/pluck department is housed in the vaulted cellars. It was during the Soviet era that the place was transformed into a superstore for children. The walls are covered with geometric pop mosaics, decorated with thematic skits (toy animals, knights). A must visit!
