Contemporary theatre, all kinds (many comedies). The stage, founded in 1875, is the oldest in the region. It occupies a beautiful building built in 1902. Innokenti Smoktounovski, famous Russian actor, made his debut there. Plays by Russian and foreign authors. Right in the centre: the best addresses of restaurants and other places to have a drink have gathered around him. So there's plenty to do before and after the show!
