Created in 1877 by a pharmacist, Nikolai Martianov, to display his beetle collections and archaeological discoveries. Many scientists also collaborated with him during the imperial era. It is a gold mine; its visit is a must! Among its treasures: remnants of the Karassouk civilization (bronzes, weapons, pendants or ornaments, numismatics); examples of the refinement of the Scythians: tank decorations, clothing pendants, shaft ends.
