The Schnockeloch, literally "the mosquito hole", is typically Alsatian: smoked palette on sauerkraut, ham au gratin with Munster cheese, poultry blanquette, sauerkraut... Portions are generous, as are the friendly staff, who are always ready to listen and give good advice. For those more inclined to nibble while sipping a beer, there's also a good selection of tartes flambées and the inevitable pair of knacks/frites. Le Schnockeloch is a great place to learn about Alsatian cuisine and culture.

une référence si vous voulez déguster une véritable cuisine alsacienne. la chouchoute royale est remarquable patagruelique même pour 2 bon mangeurs. les vins blancs d alsace sont très bien choisis . bravo

En visite à Strasbourg avec mes deux enfants et mon conjoint, nous avons réservé une table dans ce restaurant traditionnel et ne l'avons pas regretté. Les plats étaient excellents, le cadre très agréable et la personne qui nous a servi très sympathique (en particulier avec les enfants). Nous recommandons ce restaurant. A réserver si vous souhaitez bien manger et ne pas tomber sur des "attrapes touristes ".
