Restaurant offering generous and authentic cuisine in Strasbourg.
A friend who's always on hand to concoct delicious dishes. L'Ami Schutz takes you to his kingdom in the heart of Alsace. Here, you'll enjoy traditional sauerkraut, as well as beef fleischschneke with diced foie gras, and a tasty onion tart. A treat for the taste buds. The cuisine is generous and authentic, and will help tourists who are not yet familiar with the local specialties to discover them. The setting is magnificent, with its riverside location at the foot of the Ponts-Couverts.

Traditional Alsace cuisine unsurpassed, but does nothing gourmet. For example: brill in baeckhoffe, cooked steam without sauce, served on a potato bed, was flavour; the same for dessert called " Gugelhupf with marc of gewurtz" who was only vanilla ice cream. Wines of average quality.
Accelerated service: it is necessary to relax the place for the second service. Disappointing and very expensive for what it is. I will not get there.
