Le Clou has been a major brand in the city of Strasbourg for several generations. It is in a typical setting, made up of woodwork, marquetry and typical regional objects that you are welcomed with a smile and simplicity. Checked tablecloths have a lot of charm. Le Clou, an authentic winstub where regional specialities are excellent. Royal sauerkraut with wadele (ham), Fleischkiechle (meat cakes), Alsatian snails, onion soup, grandmother's stew and gewurztraminer sorbet are all typical dishes served in this superb place. The establishment is very successful, it is better to book.

Déjeuner à 4 avec deux enfants. Joli décor de Winstub typiquement alsacien, service prévenant, menu du jour très sage, assiettes copieuse, choix de vins du coin au pichet. Rien à redire !

cuisine alsacienne goûteuse
accueil sympathique dans une petite salle tout en bois, décorée de tableaux et d'objets typiques. Nous avons commandé entrée plus plat et avons peiné à finir celui-ci non parce que ce n'était pas bon, bien au contraire mais parce que c'était fort copieux. Impasse sur le dessert !

Close to the cathedral, this famous Winstub in a setting and a menu worthy of its fame. Sauerkraut, hock, top knuckle of ham.
Welcome and service and friendly welcome in a hot room by the temperature and the atmosphere. With not missing but reserve by security.

En pleine zone touristique ce winstub est une institution solide et qui le mérite. Salle chaleureuse. Les tables sont au coude à coude. Les plats régionaux (grand choix) sont trop bons surtout la choucroute extra. Vins locaux en pichet. L’addition n’est pas trop lourde. A recommander.
