Le Clou has been a major brand in the city of Strasbourg for several generations. It is in a typical setting, made up of woodwork, marquetry and typical regional objects that you are welcomed with a smile and simplicity. Checked tablecloths have a lot of charm. Le Clou, an authentic winstub where regional specialities are excellent. Royal sauerkraut with wadele (ham), Fleischkiechle (meat cakes), Alsatian snails, onion soup, grandmother's stew and gewurztraminer sorbet are all typical dishes served in this superb place. The establishment is very successful, it is better to book.

Le changement de propriétaire a mis l'établissement à l'agonie : service désorganisé, cuisine grasse et insipide, loin des valeurs traditionnelles auxquelles la propriétaire précédente nous avait habitués. Les sanitaires sont immondes et la pseudo terrasse extérieure sent l'urine et le vomi... À fuir, réellement !

Ce petit restaurant est très accueillant et très sympathique on mange très bien
Je recommande. Réservez tjs avant est mieux sinon risque de pas trouver de table.

Une institution avec sa décoration et sa carte traditionnelle. Une cuisine correcte mais un service de cantine est venu réellement dégrader notre appréciation. Dommage.
