Restaurant offering typical hot dishes by a Japanese chef in Strasbourg.

A traditional Japanese restaurant, the Matsumotoya offers typical hot dishes cooked by a Japanese chef from Nagoya: Takeshi Matsumoto. The change is immediate thanks to the dishes prepared by the chef. Half-baked or simmered fish with green tea sauce, egg noodles and flour in spicy soup, Japanese ravioli to vegetables, vegetables, marinated fried chicken chunks with breaded garlic and ginger, pork or chicken chicken: all the dishes made are traditional. The chef offers donburi (rice-based dishes) covered with cutlettes shrimp, simmered duck, chicken or fried aubergines, all on a bed of soy sauce, onions and eggs. A treat! Some of the small accompaniments (tsumami) include cooked soy beans, sake-cooked mushrooms, froid, dosidicus, cooked légumes and delicious flavours. The servings are well served. The restaurant also offers a dozen recipes from bento à. Sweet side, flavours are original, such as green tea or yuzu, taiyaki (dessert to red beans in fish form), ice to white sesame, ginger, matcha tea or umeshu (plum liqueur). Let yourself be tempted by a coffee, tea or delicious sake. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Prix abordables.
