Restaurant paradise offering a well-stocked wine list in Strasbourg.
The Cheese Bell is a paradise for lovers of these dishes. From the entrance, the tone is set with the famous bell that gives the restaurant its name. It is 1.80 m high, 1.50 m in diameter and weighs 800 kg, making it the largest in the world according to the Guinness Book of Records. Inside, there are about a hundred raw milk cheeses arranged on three marble turntables, optimally preserved with a unique air conditioning system for catering (hygrometric regulation, refrigeration system with humidification to preserve the taste of the cheeses). René Tourrette has the art of selecting his cheeses like no one else and offers here authentic homemade dishes, on the spot, based on raw products: raclette with morbier, fondue with garlic from the bears flambéed with genepi, mouth-watering trays... there is something for everyone and many dishes are available! Lovers of sweet cheeses and character will be delighted here, especially since the well-stocked wine list makes it possible to accompany each dish wonderfully.
