Restaurant with terrace in Strasbourg serving a menu of several dishes and good beef in particular

The Fossil has the reputation of the best tab at the troubleshooting of the region and is not usurped! If you find a number of other à la carte dishes, good beef pieces in particular, you will first be set up in this small restaurant opened for almost half a century, decorated with Alsatian, to attend the ceremonial cutting of the tab at the table just before it is served. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Fossil has everything to please!

Evitez la table 1 affublée d'une petite table additionnelle qui au départ semble sympathique pour découper votre viande.... En fait elle sert pour tout le restaurant..!! Donc, à proximité immédiate de votre repas, déchainement permanent du serveur avec son couteau qui réduit les onglets du restaurant entier à 10 cm de ce que vous pensiez être une table tranquille, avec projections et renfort de bruits désagréables. Mieux, on sert des escargots à notre table à un convive, les 3 autres attendent que tous les onglets de toutes les tables soient coupés avant de vous servir. La malheureuse poireaute d'autant avec ses escargots...! Encore mieux, malgré plusieurs remarques aux serveur(euse), rien n'a fait, la table et ses désagréments sont restés....!! Jamais vu ça, pourtant j'ai 65 ans et fréquente des restaurants du monde entier.... dommage, la viande excellente. Soirée gâchée pour 45€ par couvert...! Pas près de me revoir...

Je n'ai pas eu l'honneur de la découpe et de son cérémonial à table. Je connaissais le restaurant avant le changement de propriétaire. La viande est tendre, mais pour le service, il y a des efforts à faire.
