Francesca's story began in Strasbourg in 1997, when Francesca and Bertrand Arbogast opened their first ristorante rapido, an alternative to fast-food brands and other traditional sandwich. Almost al dente are served in «cups» that keep them warm for 20 min (ideal for sale) or in bowls made of porcelain if you prefer to eat on-site. To accommodate them, some recipes of traditional or more elaborate sauces: bolognese, carbonara, vodka, pesto, tuna, mushrooms, salmon, beef polpette or even nuts sauce or benedetta sauce (bresaola, peppers and rockets). Some salads, oak, dishes (lasagna, cannelloni) and desserts (tiramisu, white cheese and grout, brownie) complete the map. To finish nothing like an Italian espresso… The café gourmand is served even in the afternoon. The formula took root in Strasbourg with several other outlets and about other brands in France.
