Restaurant in the heart of old Strasbourg offering a menu that combines the flavors of yesterday and today in Strasbourg.
The Muensterstuewel, or cathedral hall, is located in the heart of old Strasbourg, just steps from the cathedral, and offers traditional cuisine in a framework entirely refurbished by Philippe Bohrer. The room is spacious and bright. The woodwork provide extra heat to the restaurant. The map combines flavours of yesterday and today, recipes are developed according to the seasons. On the map you can find traditional Alsatian dishes such as onion pie, fire salad salad, mustard seed, Pinot Noir fleischkiechles, braisées pig joues or miel lacquered. You can also taste roestis (potato patties) in poêlons, including the recipe for cream herrings or the recette of Ried and fried onions. The brewery also offers original burgers recipes; L with sauerkraut and knack or the Burger pot-au-Fire. A formula of flambées flambées is also proposed. At midday, the day's formula is good value for money. In dessert, let yourself be tempted by icy kougelhopf, a soft chocolate moelleux or one of the many icy cuts. The beautiful days, enjoy a pleasant terrace overlooking the lively square.
