Youth hostel in a quiet location close to the Rhine with terrace, garden and barbecue area at a reasonable price

The Deux Rives Youth Hostel is located in a quiet and green setting, near the homonymous garden, very close to the Rhine and the German border. Of significant size, it has more than 200 beds distributed in rooms for 2 to 6 beds and all equipped with shower, sink and toilet. The price-quality ratio is very advantageous with all its services: accessible kitchen, terrace and garden with barbecue, relaxation area with television, billiard tables and table tennis.... Welcoming young people and school groups from all over the world, member of the United Federation of Youth Hostels (FUAJ), this place is a great place to meet!

Auberge de jeunesse très excentré. Pour avoir testé beaucoup d'auberges de jeunesse à travers le monde, la qualité de celle-ci n'est pas au-rendez-vous. Elle n'est pas entretenue : lampe qui ne fonctionne pas... Couvertures sales. Pas de casiers fermant à clé. A éviter!

A traditional aj without much surprise. It is better to have a car.
Breakfast included in the price is sufficient during my passage bread was super. The idea to have a bar in the aj is not bad even if the footbridge pedestrian for Khel is not far.
Attention some rooms are rdc therefore risk of noise. Not to fear constantly under video surveillance.
However, no wi-fi, at least in an area, which is rather outdated for an inn with as much " of étoiles".
The picnic offered by the aj are irregular, tuna sandwich mayo was rather mayo - mayo.
Good point: facilities in the clean rooms when my passage.
In after a simple place to stay when it came to Strasbourg.

very warm welcome, rooms very clean, stay reasonable (20€ breakfast included). a little far from the city centre and 5 minutes walk Kehl (Germany)
