The Sofitel Strasbourg Grande Île opened its doors in 1964, making it the first Sofitel hotel in the world! Today, it's part of the Accor Hotels chain and one of the top-rated hotels in the European capital. Its luxurious rooms are all warm and comfortable, and the decor combines classic and contemporary, tradition and design. Elegant and cosy, the headboard features a gold calligraphy on a white wall, recounting the history of Strasbourg. The bathrooms feature hairdryers, beauty mirrors and Hermès toiletries. Nous avons passés un séjour exceptionnel pour Noël ...
Réceptionnistes,voituriers et concierge sont très serviables, à l'écoutes, souriants !!!
MERCI aux barmans et hôtesses pour leurs savoureux cocktails SIGNATURE notamment pour la commande spéciale (cocktail Cocoloco),merci à Quentin et sa collaboratrice !
MERCI a toute l'équipe du restaurant gastronomique (plein de petites attentions envers nous et nos deux petits chihuahuas). BRAVO à tous ...
MERCI a toute l'équipe pour l'organisation de la soirée de Noël.

Outdated and very small rooms. We were disappointed with quality of rooms. It is no where 5 stars and barely 3 stars hotel. They have a nice bar though.

Thank you for your message. I noticed your remark concerning the size of the room. Our establishment created in 1964 is the first Sofitel in the world. We are proud of its history, but it implies that we must compose with the building and its configuration. Please note that we take into account all the remarks of this type in order to transmit them to our General Manager, in preparation for our future renovation program.
However I am glad to read tthat you enjoyed the atmoshere of our bar.

Unfortunately this Sofitel is fall absolutely short of the expectations. It is hardly a 3 stars let alone 5 stars! Perhaps the only good thing about this place is the proximity to the Christmas market and everything else from here is down hill.

The room we had was the worst.

1. Non-working air conditioning
2. Terrible smell in the room reminding me of horse staple.
3. Long queue at check-in
4. No concierge to help with luggage whatsoever
5. Very dirty room
