Here's a family business that doesn't suffer from the crisis. Since 1928, the Sohn family has been selling and repairing motorcycles in Strasbourg. As a dealer for Japanese manufacturer Yamaha, located between Neudorf and Meinau, the Sohn family also sells all the accessories motorcyclists need: from spare parts to helmets, padlocks and leather overalls. The repair shop is open to all motorcycles, but it's best to phone ahead. If you're not sure about taking the plunge, you can request a test ride from the site, which also features a large selection of second-hand bikes.
