CENTRE COMMERCIAL MAISON ROUGE
The Red House Shopping Center has lost Habitat, part for more beautiful and bright local goods, those of former Virgin Megastore. Now only Fnac, a confectionery, an optician and an Orange agency. As for the building itself, often accused of disappearing Kléber Square, it is located on the location of an old hotel named Palace of the Red House. A five-story reduction; over two turrets and a Campanile, the façade consisted of large windows on balconies, a true architectural masterpiece. Many personalities stayed there, including Maurice Chevalier, Sacha Guitry, Mistinguett and Winston Churchill.
