Brasserie La Schloss is just the official name, but for regulars it's La Schloss! In this subdued, wood-panelled bar, you'll meet just about everyone in this Strasbourg institution: friends for coffee or an aperitif, local employees for lunch, regulars playing cards and reading the newspapers on offer, and students debating or partying. The place changes throughout the day. At lunchtime on weekdays from Monday to Saturday, you can enjoy small brasserie dishes. This is followed by an aperitif of artisanal sausages in a variety of flavors (walnut, goat's cheese, parmesan...) and pretzels, or the inevitable cheese and charcuterie boards. In the evening, the staff turn up the volume on the beers and cocktails!
