BAR À POPOL
A tribute to the former gruff owner of the place, Chez Popol restaurant has become the bar in Popol. Now run by Adrien and Renaud, two thirty-somethings who have been working in other cafés, restaurants and hotels in the city. The bar has kept its old-fashioned Alsatian tavern spirit and its traditional beers. A la carte: we find beers, rather rare and out of the ordinary, from local microbreweries: Bendorf, Saint-Alphonse, Perle, Matten or even the Sombre Hero among others. The same is true for small restaurants, since the two men only buy from local producers, without any intermediaries.
