Since 1987, the Strasbourg International Tennis Tournament has been the first major event of the year for French women's clay court tennis. The 2020 edition focuses on three major points: women, sport and eco-responsibility. Traditionally, this major event on the WTA calendar takes place one week before the French Open (Roland Garros). The events take place on the courts of the Tennis Club de Strasbourg, which extends just outside the European Parliament. Nice place to play a game, isn't it? At the same time, many events are scheduled: signing sessions, ball exchanges with the players, competitions for children, possibility to test the speed of your service on the radar... The Strasbourg International Tennis Tournament attracts many fans of the little yellow ball: Alsatians, French from all over France, but also Swiss and Germans. This is the proof that clay abolishes borders!
