AFGES is the leading organization representing students in Alsace. Founded in 1923, it brings together dozens of student associations, and its missions cover all areas of student life. With a focus on prevention, a culture of defending rights and improving day-to-day living conditions, AFGES offers a number of services to students and the associations that represent them, as well as numerous events throughout the year.
Under the slogan "Student life by and for students", the AFGES also runs two social and solidarity grocery stores, the AGORAé, whose role is to help the most vulnerable students, while organizing numerous events to combat isolation.
