La Tente des Glaneurs Strasbourg is a non-profit association, active in Strasbourg since May 2016, which aims to combat food waste and precariousness. Every Saturday, volunteers collect unsold food from producers and shopkeepers in and around the Boulevard de la Marne market and redistribute it free of charge to people in need. No proof of need is required. The products gleaned are destined for the garbage can, but are still of good quality and consumable.
