BIBLIOTHÈQUE DE L'INSTITUT CULTUREL ITALIEN
The library of the Italian Cultural Institute has an important documentary fund, which has notably enriched itself during the 150-year celebrations of Italian Unity (1861-2011). The result is about 10 000 volumes in Italian and French (literature, history, art history and other sections), over 150 journals (Italian culture, civilisation and news, art, linguistics, economics), no less than 1 000 videos (films and documentaries), 70 cd-roms and 3 000 slides on cities and art in Italy. Based on the idea that the promotion of Italian culture is also through exchanges and interactions between different civilizations, the Italian Institute works together with local French cultural institutions and those of all countries present in its territory. A substantive, cooperative work that transcends borders to reveal the richness of our European culture. Please note that the library catalogue is available on the Internet.
