BIBLIOTHÈQUE SONORE
Created by the association of Donors of Voices, the sound library in Strasbourg has "put into sound" more than 2,000 books and magazines for blind and visually impaired people. The principle could not be simpler: volunteers record books aloud which are then made available to the public free of charge. The library is regularly looking for volunteer readers, an opportunity to get involved in a good cause while reading the latest fashionable novels or your favourite authors! The catalogue is online on the website from which it is possible to download them in MP3 format to enjoy them from home.
