Building that was first a military barracks, then a museum, conservatory and leisure complex in Strasbourg
The building dates back to the 18th century. L'Aubette was first a military barracks, then a museum, conservatory and leisure complex. It was decorated by three avant-garde artists: Theo Van Doesburg, Hans Arp and Sophie Tauber-Arp. Take the geometrically-designed staircase up to the heart of the Années folles, including the Ciné-dancing. Discover the Foyer-bar, where you can enjoy a drink while watching the projection, and the impressive Salle des fêtes with its orthogonal composition. Exhibitions are held here.

Le musée est petit mais pour les férus d’histoire de l’art (avant-garde européen des années 20), c’est à ne pas manquer !
Pienamente soddisfatta della mostra fotografica odierna.
Merita una visita il palazzo imperiale che la ospita.
