Le Palais se situe sur une place plutôt pimpante au printemps grace au jardin central.
La Neustadt présente un intéret architectural certain, des visites sont organisées.

Magnifique bâtiment et ancien siège de l'Administration du Reichland Elsass-Lothringen.. malheureusement accaparé par des administrations Française culturelles... qui nous plus de moyens et plus aucune envergure. Dommage pour ce superbe bâtiment...absolument pas mis en valeur et impossible à visiter la plus grande partie de l'année..juste une honte.. mais l'habitude s'installe dans cette France qui abdique de plus en plus....

Originally, a German imperial building from the time after the 1870-1871 franco-prussian war, it now is a French administrative building housing the Commission for (river) Rhine Navigation, the world's oldest multinational regulatory institution still in existence today. Since I visited on a weekend, the building was closed, but I doubt that it's ever open for tourist visits since it's a "working" government building.
