Museum tracing Strasbourg's urban history from the Middle Ages to the creation of European institutions

Housed in a former butcher's shop dating from 1587, the Historical Museum traces Strasbourg's urban history from the Middle Ages to the creation of European institutions. Its 1,700^m2 of exhibits include works of art, figurines, flags, models and much more. The museum offers both chronological and thematic tours: from the Holy Roman Empire to the Reformation, via the royal and revolutionary periods. The highlight of the visit is a 70^m2 relief map dating from 1727, which reproduces the town and its surroundings at 1:⁶⁰⁰ scale.

Musée très riche car l’histoire de la ville de Strasbourg remonte à bien longtemps ! On comprend facilement les éléments grâce à une muséographie bien pensée et il y possibilité d’avoir un audioguide.

Peut-être qu’on ne retient pas tout en une seule visite mais il convient pour tous âges et on ne s’ennuie pas.

Un musée sur 2 étages qui relate l'histoire de la Ville au fil des siècles, ... Prévoir 2 heures de visite (au moins)

Petit musée très intéressant, très bien fait, assez interactif, avec des choses très intéressantes à voir et lire ! Il manque cependant qlq petites activités pour les enfants mais sinon niquel !
