BOTANICAL GARDEN OF THE UNIVERSITY OF STRASBOURG
A remarkable botanical garden, classified as a historic monument, to preserve, conserve and acclimatize plant species.
Designated a Jardin Remarquable (outstanding garden) and classified as a Monument Historique (historical monument) since 1993, the University of Strasbourg's botanical garden is dedicated to preserving, conserving and acclimatizing its diverse and plethoric plant species. Nearly 6,000 species of different styles are spread across a conglomerate of greenhouses. The Garden is home to a number of remarkable collections, some of which are particularly rare, which change with the seasons, over an area of around 3.5 hectares.
