This triumphal arch was erected on the occasion of the visit of Tsessarevich Nicholas II to Blagovechtchensk in June 1891. It was destroyed in 1936 by the Soviet authorities and rebuilt identically only in 2005. Located on Victory Square, it features a 20 m high stone portal made in classical style and decorated with the Russian coat of arms. It is sometimes possible to see locals taking pictures of themselves in front of it, especially on the occasion of weddings.
