MUSEUM OF MODERN ART

A room, not very large, on the ^1st floor of the Maison de la culture de la ville, presents permanent or temporary exhibitions of works by local artists: paintings, photos, art objects... The Museum of Modern Art is especially famous for its unique collection, a series of paintings by B. Kosvintsev, a native artist of Birobidjan, illustrating scenes from the Old Testament. The museum has its own shop where you can buy souvenirs.
