AEROPORT DE IUZHNO-SAKHALINSK
Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk airport, also known as Khomutovo airport, is located in the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, on the Russian island of Sakhalin. It was established in 1945 as an air base and is now the main airport of the Sakhalin Oblast. The airport has a 3,400-meter concrete runway, a passenger terminal and two cargo terminals. It is managed by FSUE "Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport". The airport is located at an altitude of 18 meters above sea level. The airport's geographical coordinates are 46° 53' 13" north, 142° 43' 25" east. Airlines serving Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport include Aeroflot, Aurora, KrasAvia, Nordwind Airlines, S7 Airlines, Saravia and Yakutia Airlines.
