Avis has two car rental offices, one inside the Mariott by Courtyard Hotel, a second one open at the airport. Remember to bring your international driving licence. In addition to the official, international car rental agencies, local agencies also offer car rentals, including Khote Abkhazis Street, which is the lane leaving Liberty Square and leading to the Old City. On the way, be particularly careful: vehicles may come unexpectedly. On secondary roads, beware of animals.
