", this triple establishment (one on the left bank of the Kura, two steps from the Mardjanichvili metro, another in the shopping street of the old town, and a new one beneath the Pushkin square (Place de la Liberté), is very fashionable among the Tbilissiens. It is currently the GEORGIAN Restaurant, which opened in 2007; It combines excellent traditional cuisine and folklorisante reconstitution of the old Tiflis (interior is made of imitation balconies and wooden terraces), and "big bizness" modern. Prices are reasonable but significantly higher than in simpler institutions. This is in some way a typical place in contemporary Georgia: between modernity, national folklore and Soviet manners. Do not believe that the folk garden is made for tourists: the Georgians love it. If you are invited to eat khinkalis, this is probably where you will be brought. The khinkalis are excellent; the rest of the map offers the same range of Georgian dishes as usually, but with special varieties and quality. All the country's good wines are served there. Count 20 lari per person. Celui is more impressive by its space and its garden; but that of Léssélidzé is calmer.
