DOUKANI TCHILIKAS BITCHI

A place that is difficult to find and little central, but very typical of the old Tbilisi. This doukani is located in the traditionally Armenian district of Isani and is maintained by Armenians. It combines Georgian and Armenian dishes with a good culinary vision of popular South Caucasian gastronomy. Their skewers (mtsvadi) are delicious, as are their kababis or kofta (Turkish-Armenian meat boulettes). A typical Caucasian place outside tourist trails.
