LAGHIDZE
It is one of the favourite Sakhatchapourés of the Tbilissiens, especially those nostalgic for the past. It was its founder, Mitrophane Laghidzé, who invented a kind of syrup served here, a mixture of different fruity syrups, sugar and water, called Laghidzé water. You can still drink here. Laghidzé was the first facility to serve adzharians adzharians in Tbilisi, and the cook of the 1950 s, which introduces a commercialized form of the Georgian doughnut, still works here! The garden is in the very style of 1960 and the prices of the khatchapouris are derisory: It's also a mission of the place to feed not very rich mouths. The place is threatened by the project to renovate the avenue, it may have to close its doors for a while.
