PRO CREDIT BANK
ProCredit Bank's Georgian headquarters in Tbilisi is the first building in the country to achieve international EDGE certification for energy efficiency. International energy experts audited the bank's headquarters, which combines modern architectural design with energy, water and material efficiency, in line with the ProCredit Group's environmental philosophy. The building features a large glazed facade and atrium for natural light, as well as a low-emissivity building envelope and windows. The building's lighting is provided by LED lamps with occupancy sensors and lighting controls. High-efficiency heating and air-conditioning equipment ensures ambient comfort while saving energy. In addition, the bank has installed one of the country's first rainwater harvesting systems at its head office. ProCredit is also the only bank in the country to operate its own solar power plant, which is used not only for internal electricity, but also to recharge its fleet of electric vehicles. ProCredit Bank Georgia plans to pursue EDGE certifications for its head office, with the ultimate aim of becoming carbon neutral.
