SAINT GEORGE'S BASILICA IN KLDISUBANI
A pretty church belonging to the Orthodox Church since 1991, with an adjoining green-painted bell tower of atypical shape.
To get to this pretty church in the upper part of the Kldisoubani district, you can take the stairs next to number 9 or number 13 Gomi Street. This is the last church in Kldisoubani: the pretty church of Tsminda Giorgi, St. George, originally an Armenian church founded in 1251. Since 1991, it has belonged to the Orthodox Church. Note the adjoining green-painted bell tower, an atypical shape that makes it easy to spot from afar.
